Former U.S. Secretary of Education William Bennett on Monday resigned from his position as chair of the board of directors, board member and part-time employee of the education company K12 after suggesting on his radio talk show that aborting all black fetuses would reduce the U.S. crime rate, the Philadelphia Daily News reports (Dean, Philadelphia Daily News, 10/4).
