Bush & Co: Power hungry, responsibility & honesty impaired

Shorter BushCo: maxi-power, mini-responsibility (4.00 / 5)

This attitude runs through their shills and apologists too.

Remember the level of power and access to the means to carry out their intention to use 9/11 to invade Iraq.

They bamboozled Congress to get the authority to go to war. They conjured the case for it. They distorted (or outright invented) a rationale to sell a skeptical public on it and then they systematically collaborated to destroy people who might expose what they did.

Now look at the pathetic level of responsibility they're willing to accept for this power they wielded:

They (conveniently) forgot stuff and if it can't be proved they're lying so be it. Miller wrote Flame instead of Plame so she's innocent. He said "Wilson's wife" instead of "Plame" so he's in the clear. Miller can't remember the source she went to jail to protect and no one can prove otherwise. If the President asked his insiders and everyone said they didn't know, so be it. What can the poor guy do but use the situation to destroy his opponent during an election year -- that's just politics.

Ridiculous. The power and level of responsibility should at least hang out in the same neighborhood. The buck stops in the Oval Office for all of this.

This is admini and their apologists still dismiss actual crimes Bush committed into middle age as youthful indiscretion, but want to try and execute adolescent semi-retarded black kids as adults as part of a culture of responsibility.

They want "looters" shot in the head for taking food and water during a catastrophe but will accept two years of stonewalling and "I forgot" and "so it was only a sixteen-word lie" from the people who have the means to wreak global havoc.

This shit can't get more sickening.
