Withdrawing now would be a disaster:
No-brainer reasons

1. War on Terror: Withdrawing would signal defeat and prove Osama's attacks work.
2. Homeland security: A civil war would result and that would make Iraq even more of a breeding ground for terror.
3. Economical: Withdrawing would leave behind all the hopes of US ever being paid for the $200 billion invested on the war.
4. Humanitarian: Withdrawing now would result in a civil war that could claim millions of victims
5. Emotional: All the pain and sacrifice endured by the military and their families would have been for naught

Withdrawing now is a good idea:
No-brainer reasons

1. War on Terror: Withdrawing would remove troops from ME soil, Osama's top stated reason for US attacks [but will it stop him ?]
2. Homeland security: Withdrawing would leave extra troops and National Guard people and resources to protect America
3. Economical: Withdrawing would stop the daily US$ 6 million dollars bleeding of US treasury
4. Humanitarian: Withdrawing now would let Iraqis decide their own destiny
5. Emotional: All the pain and sacrifice endured by the military will cease

Withdrawing now would be a disaster
Other reasons (here you may or may not agree with me)

6. Middle East Foreign Policy: It would leave Israel and other US friendly Middle Eastern vulnerable to attacks and "spill over" civil war
7. Rest of the World Policy: It would leave the country leaders of US friendly "coalition of the (b)willing" in a very difficult situation
8. US Politics - GOP: Believe it or not, IMHO, withdrawal would be good for the GOP, as it would remove the pain the war is inflicting on average Americans. And just like Vietnam with Nixon, the GOP will be able to reap the political benefits of stopping the war
9. US Politics - War critics: It would leave war critics vulnerable to election defeat. Because they would be in the unpopular "I told you so" position, while everyone remembers they never helped the war effort. Very vulnerable to be used by escape goats by the GOP - just like Kerry and the anti-war movement was blamed for the Vietnam fiasco
10. US Politics - DNC: It would leave those who signed the War resolution and the Dem hawks (like Hillary) vulnerable to election defeat. Because they would be dammed by what they did - support the war in the beginning - and dammed by what they didn't do: Stop the war criticism on their own party. And it would be even worse for the flip floppers...

Withdrawing now is a good idea:
Other reasons (here you may or may not agree with me)

6. Middle East Foreign Policy: It would please most US allies in the region - Israel excluded - as it would relieve internal pressures to side with the Muslim radicals just to protect Islamic culture
7. Rest of the World Policy: It would please most US allies - England, and Australia excluded - of the "coalition of the (b)willing, and silence vocal Chiefs of State critics of the war
8. US Politics - GOP: Believe it or not, IMHO, withdrawal would be good for the GOP
9. US Politics - War critics: No benefit as it would be "preaching to the choir", i.e, war critics would be vindicated amongst their faithful and viewed as the smart alec who never helped by the rest of the voters
10. US Politics - DNC: Some benefit if they lead the calls for withdrawal and reach a bipartisan agreement ?
